Description

The latest evolution in the Horseware Airflow sheet is the Helix style!

Helix fabric behaves just like cotton but with slightly better rip resistance compared the same weight of cotton.  An excellent summer sheet with superb breathability and moisture-wicking properties.

Beautiful hand-feel to the fabric.

If you wish to have a full hood, the Rambo Extended Hood will attach.

Features:

  • 200gsm Helix fabric across the top of the sheet and tailflap
  • 160gsm soft knit polyester mesh panels to sides of sheet and under neck rug
  • Super lightweight sheet
  • Generous Detachable Neck Rug
  • Disc Front closures for freedom of movement
  • Cross Surcingles
  • Leg Arches
  • Tail Flap
  • Fillet Strap

Can be worn all year round on its own, or under other rugs if you choose to during Autumn/Winter but due to the tail flap size, it could soak up the rain leading to moisture under the top rug.

Please bear in mind while we make every effort to maintain durability with excellent breathability, these are a soft fabric and if snagged and pulled against, they can tear.

*Close all velcro pieces when rug is being washed or not on your horse.

Sizing:

For Horseware Ireland rugs, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Take a soft measuring tape
  2. Measure from the centre point of the chest (A), around the point of the shoulder, along the body, around the back leg to the centre of the tail (B)
  3. Take 10cm off the measurement you got.
  4. Check where this new number puts you under A to B on the table below
  5. If your horse is in between two sizes, we usually suggest going with the bigger size.

*Check out the size guide in the images.

When fitting your rug, leave all tags attached, ensure your horse is super clean so that if you need an exchange you can return the rug in brand-new hair-free condition so it can be sold at RRP again.

Do up your surcingles to a hand's width from the belly - this allows room for the belly to expand during lying down or rolling but keeps the straps short enough to avoid toes catching a strap when getting up from lying down.
