    Terms and Conditions

    Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

    Who can enter?

    • Entry is only open to Australian residents.

    • Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.

    Promotional Period

    The promotion commences when entries open and closes at 1:00pm on Saturday 28 March 2026 at the Brookies Capalaba Easter Family Festival. 

    How to Enter

    To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period:

    1. Complete the entry form via the event sign-up page or QR code provided at the event.

    2. Submit their entry before the promotional period closes.

    3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

    4. Incomplete, indecipherable, or duplicate entries will be deemed ineligible.

    5. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the eligibility of the entrant.

    Prize Draw

    The Lucky Door Prize draw will take place on Monday 30 March 2026. Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be notified via the contact details provided in their entry within three (3) business days of the draw.

    Prize Details

    Prize details will be announced at the event. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Winners will need to collect their prize from Brookies Capalaba.

    Publicity

    Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and/or voice in the event they win the prize (including photographs, film, and/or recordings) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting this promotion or the Promoter’s products and services.

    Affiliation Disclaimer

    This promotion is conducted by Brookies Rural Traders and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by RM Williams or any other brands mentioned in connection with the prize. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

    Limitation of Liability

    Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act or similar consumer protection laws. Except for liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:

    • any technical difficulties, equipment malfunction, or delays;

    • theft, unauthorised access, or third-party interference;

    • lost, late, or misdirected entries;

    • variation in prize value;

    • tax liability incurred by the winner; or

    • any loss or damage arising from use of the prize.

    As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner may be required to sign a release and indemnity form.

    Privacy

    The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose PI to third parties including prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. Entrants acknowledge they may receive marketing communications from the Promoter but may unsubscribe at any time.

    Termination of Promotion

    The Promoter reserves the right to vary the terms of, or cancel, the promotion at any time without liability, subject to applicable laws.

    Governing Law

    The laws ofQueensland, Australia govern these Terms and Conditions. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
