Description
Cane toads are native to South and Central America and are highly resilient amphibians and voracious predators of insects and other small prey. These traits led to their introduction into Australia in 1935 as a method to control pest beetles in the sugar cane industry, prior to the widespread use of agricultural chemicals.
Amgrow Croaked Cane Toad Control has been developed in partnership with AQUI-S New Zealand Ltd, a specialist in aquatic anesthetics (Eugenol) for aquaculture. The modified Eugenol formulation provides a humane method for sedating and euthanising cane toads, the first of its kind in Australia.
Key Features:
One pack treats up to 150 cane toads
Rapid immobilisation with a single spray
Quick euthanasia (under 8 minutes) for easy retrieval of bodies
Convenient application and reduces risk of secondary poisoning
Acts via sedation
Easy-to-use trigger spray
Safe to use around pets when directions on the pack are followed
