Description

Single rein pressure can be applied effectively to the bit for more control than with a plain snaffle. A Kimblewick Bit is similar to a Pelham But, but with less level of leverage. It combines the actions of a double bridle in one bit with a milder, less purposeful effect. Kimblewick Bits can be useful for horses or ponies in need of double bridle control, with only one bit and one pair of reins.
