Y-Tex Brute (Permrethrin) Insecticide for Horses is a ready-to-use wipe-on product that targets biting flies and midges - responsible for Queensland Itch. 

The active ingredient in Brute, Permrethrin 87g/L, targets the following pests:

• Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua)
• Stable Fly (Stomoxys calcitrans)
• House Fly (Musca domestica)
• Sand Fly or Biting Midges (Culicoides spp.)
