Description
Aristopet Sulphadim is formulated for the treatment of bacterial infections in ornamental birds including Enteritis, Caecal Coccidiosis, Pneumonia and White Scours.
NOT TO BE USED in food-producing birds.
Directions:
Budgies, Canaries, Finches: 2 drops (0.13mL) to be given directly into the beak 3 times a day. Also add 10 drops (0.67mL per 30mL of drinking water.
Parrots and other large birds: 3 to 4 drops (0.2mL to 0.27mL) to be given directly into the beak 3 times a day. Also add 12 drops (0.8mL) per 30mL of drinking water.
Diarrhoea prevention: 75 drops (5mL) per litre of drinking water once each week.
When treating for coccidiosis, the cage should be thoroughly cleaned daily to prevent re infestation. Use only glass or plastic drinking containers to avoid any interactions with the metal.
