Ten years ago, Dine a Chook started a revolution in Chicken Feeders and Drinkers. Since then, over 50,000 Dine a Chook Poultry Feeders and Drinkers have found a home in backyard chicken coops around Australia. The reason, the Australian-made Dine a Chook is not only the best in engineering and design but for the small cost, it does so more than other drinkers.
We explain exactly why a Dine a Chook Drinker is better in detail under these quick product specs.
It is a well-known fact, one of the main causes of disease spread in the chicken coop is contaminated water. If you use a trough or water tray where chooks can walk or climb on, the dirt, mud, as well as faeces, end up in their water. In no time at all, these particles become a bacteria soup. Likewise, algae in the water can also fast track bacteria growth. Also, a wet floor or mud caused by water spillage is another great way to bring illness into the coop.
The Australian-made Dine a Chook is made to tackle these issues. With years of research, the Dine a Chook was the first of its kind in the market and Aussie backyard farmers love it. We use ASA plastic which is more durable than PVC in the elements. UV treated, it helps prevent algae and mould growth in the water tank. The German Lubing Cup is made by the German company Lubing, a world leader in poultry hydration. The Lubing Cup system stops spillage and water on the floor of the coop. It also helps prevent mud, dirt and other nasties ending up in the drinking water. We have also upgraded the cup float so your hens get more water in the cup. The system is automatic, so it fills the cup as the water level decreases.
We also have a twin cup drinker to suit those with large flock sizes.
