How do to use Succulent & Cacti Mix:

Potting Cacti and Succulents

  1. Place a small amount of Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix in the base of the pot.
  2. Position the plant in the centre of the pot; fill around edges to within 20mm of the top of the pot with Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix.
  3. Press down gently.
  4. Water in well straight away and then a solid water once a week depending on the needs of your plant variety.

Potting Bonsai

  1. Select your new bonsai pot, ensuring it is in correct proportion to your plant and has large drainage holes
  2. Position your anchoring wires through the drainage holes placing bonsai mesh over the holes and cover with a layer of grit.
  3. Give your plant a thorough water, and remove it from its existing pot.
  4. Place a small amount of Bonsai Cacti Succulent Mix in the base of the pot.
  5. Place the plant in the pot and add mix until your plant is at the desired height and secure with the anchoring wires.
  6. Press down gently to firm up the mix.
  7. Water in well straight away, then continuing fairly regularly over the next few weeks, depending on the plant position and time of year.
