Each cylinder makes up to 60 litres of sparkling water (depending on how fizzy you like it and which machine you have). Once it's empty, bring it back to us and swap it for a full one at the swap price of $19.99.

How the swap works

1. Bring in your empty cylinder. Drop into Brookies Rural Traders at Brookfield, Samford or Dayboro with your empty SodaStream 60L CO2 cylinder.
2. Swap it for a full blue screw-in cylinder. We take your empty and hand you a full one.
3. Pay the swap price of $19.99. That's $16 less than $35.99 for a new cylinder.

Swaps are in store only, because we need your empty cylinder back. First time? Buy a new cylinder for $35.99, then swap it from then on. SodaStream cylinders remain the property of SodaStream and are provided for use under licence. Every refill saves over 120 single-use plastic bottles.

Safety and storage

• Contains carbon dioxide (CO2) gas under pressure, which may explode if heated.
• Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from extremes of temperature and weather. Never let any part of the cylinder get hotter than 100°C.
• Store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.
• Don't puncture or burn the cylinder, and protect it from knocks and damage. If a cylinder is damaged, bring it back to us rather than using it.
• Use it in a well-ventilated area, and don't go into a confined space where the gas may have built up.
• Dangerous Goods Division 2.2 (non-flammable, non-toxic gas), UN 1013.
