NEUTRADEX® – Muscle Recovery & Urinary Support Supplement for Horses

Support your horse’s recovery after hard work withNEUTRADEX®, a palatable supplement formulated to assist with muscle recovery, hydration and urinary health. Containing sodium acid citrate, NEUTRADEX® helps buffer acidity and is designed for horses in hard training, performance horses and those with a history of tying up.

Suitable for use during demanding training and competition schedules, NEUTRADEX® can help support post-exercise recovery and encourage drinking when used as part of an appropriate hydration and electrolyte program.

Composition

Each 28 mL dose contains:

• Sodium acid citrate: 7.93 g

Dosage & Directions for Use

Horses weighing 450–500 kg

• Daily use: Add 28 mL to feed daily.

• After hard work, fast work or racing: Give 50 mL orally by syringe over the back of the tongue.

• For horses prone to tying up: Give an additional 30 mL by mouth after each workout or slow work session, increasing to 50 mL after hard work, as directed.

• To encourage drinking after very hard or fast exercise: Give 50 mL over the tongue as soon as possible after exercise.

• Race days: Give 50 mL over the tongue before the evening meal.

• Day after racing: Give 50 mL over the tongue before the morning meal.

Horses experiencing dehydration may require additional electrolytes. NEUTRADEX® can be used with a balanced electrolyte supplement suited to the horse’s workload. Always follow the product label and seek veterinary advice for individual dosing requirements.

Precautions

• Do not use within 24–36 hours before competition.

• Use after hard work once warm-down exercise is complete, for one to two days, as directed.

• Always provide access to cool, clean drinking water after dosing.

• Use only as directed. Consult your veterinarian if your horse has ongoing muscle problems, dehydration or urinary concerns.

Store below 30°C at room temperature.
